質問	「Tissue Conditioning」 または「Conditioner」のアメリカ補綴学会における定義を知りたい。
回答	アメリカ補綴学会と思われる「American Prosthodontic Society(APS)」に、直接問い合わせる以外の方法は見つからなかった。 ※2009年再回答 高齢者歯科学講座より「アメリカ補綴学会の用語集の最新版にも記述はない」として、関連記述を紹介いただいた。 米国で最も代表的な無歯顎治療の教科書 『Prosthodontic Treatment for Edentulous Patients (12th Ed）』p198-200 英国の代表的な無歯顎治療の教科書 『Prosthtetic Treatment of the Edentulous Patient (4th Ed）』p276-280
回答プロセス	Google、PubMed、Scopus 等を検索した。アメリカ補綴学会と思われる American Prosthodontic Society(APS) のホームページを見たが該当するようなページは見つからなかった。 またアメリカ歯科医師会（ADA）のホームページで、『Journal of Prothetic Dentistry』 Vol.94(1)の中に「THE GLOSSARY OF PROSTHODONTIC TERMS」を見つけたが、「Tissue Conditioning」の項目はなかった。 データベースでヒットした文献の参考文献でも見つからなかった。 念のために、東海目録の加盟館に問い合わせた。 「アメリカ補綴学会と思われるAPSまたADAが編纂している辞典などの検索を行ってみたがなく、やはりAPSのホームページにて直接問い合わせてみること以外の方法は見つからない」とのこと。

備考	※2018年追記： 『Prosthodontic Treatment for Edentulous Patients (12th Ed）』は、講座常置図書のため、講座外の人の貸出・閲覧は講座の許可が必要。 『Prosthtetic Treatment of the Edentulous Patient』は所蔵なし。
