また、『Materialia』は、「Not currently indexed for MEDLINE.」＝採録対象外のタイトルのため、PubMedからはヒットしない。
採録対象外の論文でも、PMC（旧PubMed Central）にオープンアクセスとして申請し収録されたものは、PubMed検索からアクセス可能であるが、しかし、ご依頼の論文は、PMCに収載されていないようである。
そのためヒットしない。

3. 1と2により、雑誌『Materialia』は、
   • 2018年から発行の材料工学系オンライン雑誌
   • MEDLINEのインデックスが作成されていない（Not currently indexed for MEDLINE.）＝PubMed採録対象外のタイトル
   であることがわかる。
   
   PubMed採録対象外のタイトルは、基本的に、PMC（旧PubMed Central）にオープンアクセスとして申請し収載されたもののみ「PubMedからの検索に上がってくる」ため、この論文がPubMedの検索でヒットしないのは、PMCに収載されていないためだと思われる。

国内にこの雑誌を契約している大学があったため複写依頼を行ったが、契約上ILLでの提供は不可との返答で、文献の取寄せはできなかった。数件だがPubmedに掲載されている論文があるため、該当論文が掲載されていない理由を断定できず未解決とした。

※2022/01/20追記
調査の結果、「Not currently indexed for MEDLINE.」であっても、PMC（旧PubMed Central）にオープンアクセスとして申請し収載された論文は、PubMed検索に上がってくることがわかった。ゆえに解決とした。
